Let the bidding begin!

I guess Ellipse wanted it to sell. That's a sure way to do it - start an auction and let people bid.
If a mod wants to move this thread to Member Auction Links, I think that's really where it belongs.
-
Hmm, does it count as a member auction link if the seller/member isn't the one to post about it? True, Ellipse is a member, but someone else "found" it. Could go either way.
-
Yep I went with an auction for this one!
As some of you suggested, I put everything back to the way it originally was, except for the xwhatsit controller.
Now the USB cable goes near the leg on the left side (plenty of extra space so it does not interfere with extending that leg) and it is strain relieved (tied to a metal post on the keyboard) so a tug will not destroy the xwhatsit controller.

It seems fine to me to post some other member’s auctions in great finds, as long as they weren’t telling you to do it. The purpose of the member auction links board is to prevent people gumming up this one with self promotion; as long as no one is organizing to post each-other’s auctions or something, I don’t see a problem.
-
Sounds reasonable. I did not ask anyone to post my IBM Unsaver eBay auction.
-
Wow 33 bids so far and nearly 1,000 page views on the Unsaver!

No need to keep bumping this Ellipse.
