Hi, I have a computer and monitor I am trying to ship from zip code 19703 to zip code 79762. The package is as follows: 23 x 23 x 26 and 60 pounds. I cannot find ANY service for under $70. This to me seems a bit outrageous. Is it something I'm doing or it this just the natural cost for shipping bulky items without an account? Any input would be appreciated. I've check fed ex and UPS.

NOpe... unless ur amazon.

USPS is always the cheapest. The worst too, but still the cheapest.
DHL is the best, but also the most expensive.
Either way it won't be cheap shipping anything over 25lbs.

I shipped something much larger and heavier than that for $75 via FedEx ground but it was at least 5 years ago.
Shipping has skyrocketed in recent years and you will probably not do much better.
PO parcel post is the cheapest but it escalates rapidly with distance. It would be half that to an adjoining state.

Money being no object? UPS. Fast and shipping is updated regularly. It'll get there safe and if not, they'll replace it
Money being a very big object? USPS. Slow and weirdly updated, but it'll get there (hopefully) in one piece.

FedEx has the best tracking, by far, but $70 for a package of that size and weight seems about right these days.

For large items shipped across the country, USPS often is NOT the cheapest. I get cheaper rates with Fedex and even UPS. Plus, they usually are quicker than USPS.

You get lower rates with Fed-Ex and UPS if you ship to commercial/business addresses.
