It looks like space invaders to me, but I'm not sure what exactly it is. I've seen similar caps on Omron boards too.

That's an interesting looking board.

Definitely not space invaders. I think it’s some kind of rubber dome, but I’m not sure. HaaTa might have one. I’ll ask him what he thinks.

Not sure why you say definitely not space invaders. The caps look like they could be space invaders, just with a more uniform profile. They look dyesub to me. I've seen similar Omron boards too. Without a cap pulled, I wouldn't say definitely not to those.

Dat layout. Looks sweet, (and actually usable). Wonder what it would take to convert to USB if it actually has desirable switches.

I’m 100% sure it’s not Omron B3G-S switches. LED holes are in the wrong spot. I’m also entirely convinced it’s not NMB/Hi-Tek “space invader” switches. The keycaps are a totally different shape from any NMB keyboards I’ve ever seen, and the legends are totally different. Finally, note the “Made in USA” on the back. Sure it’s possible they sourced switches made in Japan or Thailand and shipped them to the USA for assembly, but unlikely.
While we’re making guesses completely at random, we might as well also guess that it’s Topre, Cherry MX, or Fujitsu switches. Shrug.
I honestly couldn’t tell you exactly what it is. My guess is some kind of rubber dome, or possibly RAFI switches or something, but who knows.

HaaTa does have one with very similar keycap shapes and some similar looking features, as it happens. But Made in Japan, with a different layout and different legends, so who knows: https://www.flickr.com/photos/triplehaata/sets/72157649026523137/
