Wobbling
This post is almost as cool as playing Ice Climbers in Super Smash Melee! (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aceOP82iyFE)

I'm working on a review of Gateron Linears vs Chery MX Black Linears. I was playing with some of the different combinations when I noticed there might be a difference in the tolerances. Looks like the Gateron tolerances are tighter but it still wobbles. Shot a video of it and thought I'd share it for some reason. It was shot on my S5 so please excuse the quality as I was too lazy to setup my camera. From left to right:
Left = Lubed MX Black
Middle = Lubed MX Black
Right = Lubed Gateron Black

I have no idea what video links will and will not work so I'm shotgunning all the links in the hopes it works in some form.
Edited for clarity.

I did notice a bit of wobbling vs stock switches and I thought that's what gave them the "frictionless" feel (due to wider rails on the sliders). I took out my micrometer and wasn't able to find a noticeable difference vs Cherry MX in distance however. :/
Whatever it is, it probably contributes to the smoothness.

Are the Gaterons more wobbly?
-
No the stock Gaterons feel slightly less wobbly. The Gateron stem in an MX housing is noticeably less wobbly versus an MX stem in a Gateron housing. But hitting the off-centered Gateron stem in MX housing feels weird. So being wobbly is definitely not a bad thing.

Jeez, I thought I was going crazy from too much melee practice. Melee on GH? Someone else must share my 2 passions.

Can you reiterate what you mean by an off centered gaterons stem? Do you mean if you hit the gateron switch from an offset, then due to the less-wobbley nature of it, it can feel strange?

I actually had this song on my playlist forever back in the day :).
