Title: 1989 Model M 1391401, $40 + shipping (probably)

Hey guys,

Yesterday an eBay seller listed a black-label Model M 1391401 with a BIN price of $69.99 and the "Make an offer" option. A friend of mine in Vancouver offered $40 and the seller accepted it.

This same seller has listed another 1391401 with the same terms (http://www.ebay.com/itm/IBM-model-M-keyboard-1391401-with-removable-ps-2-cable-/181682854165). I can't guarantee it of course, but I'm guessing they'll take $40 for this one too. It's a 1989 (black label) with cable. It's missing some keycaps (left bracket, PrtScr, Scroll Lock, numpad 6 and 3) but otherwise looks very nice. I'd buy it myself if I thought I could stay married.

Oh just buy it please.  I certainly don't need another one.  *WEG*  It's missing the period/delete and the 3 on the numpad BTW.  Be sure you order or have the right replacement keys.

Edit: It is also missing the Tilde ~/` key to the left of the 1 key (above the Tab)  Looks like someone wrote on the stem.
Yep 6 keys.  Print Screen - Scroll Lock - Tilde ~/` - Left Bracket - Numpad 3 - Numpad Period/Delete.

Looks like whoever bought it didn't bother to haggle.

Yeah they paid full price despite it missing 6 keycaps.  I guess they had some spares somewhere.
Besides, you want to stay married for now.  :)

Well, that said, there are definitely times when I'd opt for the bigger KB collection.

Besides, single guys especially need lots of KBs, as they're such babe magnets.
