This is a wonderful image. The most magnificent part for me is when you zoom enough to see that all the "noise" in the image is really a bunch of stars and galaxies!

Space is big. Really big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind-bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist, but that's just peanuts to space.

Isn't there something like 100 billion stars in our Milky Way Galaxy and and an estimated 100-200 Billion Galaxies in our observable universe? Yea, we are inconsequentially small
