Attempt 1 at an ALPS Beer Cap. No pressure pot so lots of bubbles.

Props to Click Clack for the first beer cap I've ever seen. Hopefully you guys don't get too mad at me for using a similar color set. Clack's is way better obviously.
I used clay and resin to thicken the underside. These are the first two caps off this experimental mold, for QWERTY row.

Would like to see it with more meat!!!! Like my melons with a lot of bite XD

This is very cool. I love the layered colors, and in-particular the translucent pink.
-
Wow, that looks pretty cool man!
-
I love that color combination! The translucent pink looks very nice.
-
Nicely done :)
-
Love this spring color! It looks so cute.
-
So. ****ing. Cute!!! I love how your board has a theme and you're continually building on it :D. Please show us more build logs or info on the cap making process!!

Great looking cap, any chance of seeing the other side of it ?
I really like the whole idea about custom keycaps like these, if it was possible to find small enough letters in plastic, one could add them after the transparent top layer and befor the solid other layer..
-
I'll post underside photos soon. Working on making maybe 10 of these since a few people actually wanted to buy (for a lot more than I would want to sell for!).
I'll post them all :)

I'd also be interested in buying one of these, they look great :D

edit: didn't mean to post :p

Now with ALPS goodness! The purple is also a custom ALPS cap. I used clay and resin to thicken the underside and made some molds. This is attempt 1, and these are the first caps from this custom mold.

Just curious, why is your X key upside down?

To draw you in closer.
I think it was from when Beardsmore posted a photo with an upside down x, I wanted to join.

And now your beer cap is making me thirsty. :-*
Where did you get the blue and purple sets? They look gorgeous as well (not really original but beautiful).

The blue on white MX is Vortex Bi-Color Thick PBT. The lone ALPS lavender cap is one I made.

So much want for that bubbly beer cap in Alps.
Very nice.
-
Loving the beer cap, if you can't get rid of the bubbles make them a feature!
-
THAT BEER CAP. WAT
I need this thing. Not only does it have those sweet bubbles with those sweet colours, but it is freaking alps compatible!
-
Guess I'm making a lot more.
-
That is a really cool effect. I've never seen a cap that takes advantage of the bubbles. Nice job!
