I got the 128 w/o a card reader. Seller accepted $60.00 offer, seems pretty decent for a brand new board. Looks like a rebranded Tipro. Hoping for MX Browns, but probably will be Blacks. Good news, the board should be free after desoldering and selling the switches.
Also note the smaller boards may not be a good deal, another seller has some of those (albeit w/o a cable, used) for about $35.

intelli78, similar models have been posted before at lower prices. That's why I never posted this seller's. Fortunately you didn't pay too much, whew! Low balling is really insurance against over pricing something!
btw i'm happy to pick up the pieces if you want to give them away... I could use any part from a 128!

Thanks berserkfan, I'll let you know.
Any idea if these ever came w/ anything other than MX Blacks?

I know I asked in the past, but it was one of these 2 companies Cherry and Tipro I don't remember which one. But IIRC Tipro never makes anything not Cherry blacks. Or else they said something like 'all our switches are the same'. Cherry's RC128 is built on contract from Tipro, so when you open it it should say Tipro inside!
The main irritants are 2kro and needing WinXP to program.
Build wise, it's really heavy and fully solid.
