Found these on a no name pos not POS keyboard with a plastic plate. Clicky and tactile but feel gritty and don't respond well to of center key presses. It binds pretty bad. Maybe lining would solve the issue. Anyways here is about the best pic I could get.

Doesn't seem to match anything but what do I know, I could barely get the thing open and ended up cutting the contacts off

Oh eep, sorry! You need to use a pair of small screwdrivers or similar tools, just slide them between the housing pieces from the top, and pry the parts a little it apart, and then tilt them inward toward the top housing and lift up a bit. Once you get the hang of it it’s pretty quick and painless, but yeah, it can be tricky to figure out at first.
There are some videos and threads somewhere about opening Alps switches and various clones, but I’m not sure if there’s any perfect explanation online.

I wasn't too concerned about breaking things as I didn't figure it was very valuable, though I didn't really want to destroy it. Learning experiences are always good.

You’re right that it seems to be a new type, not represented on the Deskthority wiki.
It reminds me a bit of http://deskthority.net/wiki/YH-B_Alps_clone and http://deskthority.net/wiki/Tai-Hao_APC_series but the contact seems to be a new type that I haven’t seen anywhere before.
Maybe someone should PM Daniel Beardsmore to ask. He’s really the expert about this.

Considering the one other English review, there in that Deskthority thread, says “These switches are clicky and tactile, and unfortunately, they do not feel very nice. Even the 1 U keys have to be hit dead center for a proper operation. There are hardly any stabilized keys (only space and enter) so using this board to do some actual typing is a horrible experience.” I’d say your guess that these aren’t generally all that desirable is probably correct. :-)
If you decide you don’t need all of these switches, I’d be glad to buy a handful of them from you, or trade a few for some other type of switch.
(I’m trying to collect switches for an every-Alps-mount-switch-I-can-find switch tester that I can put together andthen mail around on tour for people to try all the various Alps mount switches in person; I don’t care suuuper strongly about getting every clone switch represented, but I’m happy to include any that I can obtain relatively cheaply/easily.)

Edit. I would be open to selling or trading. Prefer trading of possible as there are tons of switches I haven't tried. I'd have to look again but I believe all the standard keycaps space, shifts enter (big ass) are stabilized.

Just out of curiosity, what kind of keyboard did it come from?

I'll post pics tomorrow but some obsecure keyboard. Honestly one of the worst I've ever seen, including rubber domes. Damn thing is flimsy as **** and the shell is held together by plastic tabs. Bonus though is that it has decent double shot keycaps witch I harvested for my at101w.

GA Alps clone is listed under Alps mount recognition (http://deskthority.net/wiki/Alps_mount_recognition) but there's no photo yet — it needs a good photo taking of a switch (preferably in-situ) lit well enough to clearly read all the writing on the top, since the writing is the big giveaway.
