You can buy an IBM 5140 off ebay if you want brown Alps, they're fairly common
Indeed! I've been looking for one to come up for a decent price, but I can't justify the 300+ that most of them ask for a buy it now. It appears that a handful came up around September for around $50 + shipping (under completed listings). AND as I was responding to this I checked to see that there was one up for $125 shipped so I pulled the trigger, more than I wanted to spend but not terribly priced. Anyway, thanks JQ for making me look on ebay today. :p

Yeah I would have preferred a deal like that, but at least I can stop looking now.
This one did come with a pretty sweet IBM bag though.
