The ebony model is pretty nice. Way pricey though.

My thoughts exactly. Would certainly look nice on a wealthy man's antique desk, but it's out of my league.
(Especially if, as I suspect, they are being churned out by machine.)

Here (http://www.lachae.co.kr/shopping/as.htm)'s the manufacturer. Still expensive as hell there, although they do charge quite a premium for ebony (1518k KRW vs. 887k KRW for the lesser models), which is what everyone in their right mind will be getting anyway. Still not as expensive as the ebay listing, though.

I like how they blurred the manufacturer name in some pics but failed to do so in others.
The ebony version looks good.
Not cut from a single block which is possible (http://tastaturdesign.de/index.php/galerie/category/1-desktop).

Gonna put the ebony version on my "as soon I get rich" list... :D

Rosewood or Ebony would likely have the best wear characteristics for the keycaps, partly because they are harder and denser than the others.
Rosewood's oil content means it wouldn't show even when the finish begins to wear off - if anything becoming more polished (not sure how they got the finish to stick to it in the first place).
Ebony will look good with or without the finish even though it looks like one of the Asian varieties.
The others would all eventually start to stain once the finish wore through, though most likely the Cherry would look awesome in person as it usually has a wonderful chatoyancy to the grain that shimmers with changes in viewing angle and it naturally darkens substantially with age.

No LEDs? A million won and not even LEDs?
(Thing No. 16 I like about Korea... their currency makes splurgy items seem even more expensive!)

I wood never pay over $1000 for a keyboard without indicator lights!

Now, if they only were 105-key and I would have that money to spend on keyboard...
