I wonder why no one is going for this one. Maybe it's because the white Mac one is pictured instead of the black PC one. Is the shiny chassis really that big a factor for people?

I am also a little surprised that only one person has committed to purchase so far. What you say might be a reason. Though I enjoy Matias switches, I am not a big fan of the appearance of Matias keyboard. The sticking out USB port part looks kind of ugly. I think the shiny plastic chassis looks OK (but I can't say good), but I know they are finger print collectors, especially the black shiny plastic ones.

YES it is.  No one likes a dust magnet surface to which the Matias certainly is.

If he was smart start producing black matte surfaced casings as soon as possible, then maybe he'll start shipping more gear out of his factory  :thumb: .

Indeed. Matte surface looks more classy and durable, though I don't think there is significant difference in manufacturing cost.

I'm tempted, though I would rather do a project and mod my AT101W vs buy a new one.  Also I don't necessarily care for the case.  Not my style but not a deal breaker.

I got in on this, at the $109 level. Matias Clicks in a PC layout? Hell yes. (If it actually happens, of course...)
