Title: Kinesis Advantage Macro: 9 for triggering Shift-9 ?

I don't have a Kinesis Advantage (yet?) ... I know you cannot remap 9 to be Shift-9 .... I'm wondering what would happen if you defined a macro to be triggered by a single keypess of 9 where the definition is to press Shift-9

Or would there be a nasty loop?

You could still produce a 9 with the embedded numpad, right?

I guess my fundamental question is: when you're defining the body of the macro (and when it's playing back a macro) is every keystroke interpreted as that key's native non-customized QWERTY keycode?
