Should be MX Blacks with nice doubleshots based on the article numbers. Unless the caps lock and the bottom row are off centered, you should be able to fill most standard layout boards with these.

If someone grabs one and doesn't need all the switches, I'd love to get some for lube experiments.

All caps should be compatible with standard MX layouts, bought one of these last year. Only issue is the menu and win keys are pad printed.

Good to know. One of the cheapest high quality sets you could get right now that would fill out your board then. I think you could make do with the pad printing pretty easily unless the pad printed caps are thin.

These would be good boards for someone who wanted to practice soldering on an actual keyboard just for kicks. Plus you get some decent caps. I'm not a huge fan of the relegendable keys.
-
Yeah, the relegendables are annoying, but the 60% part of the board is awesome.

These are 100% compatible with your average 87/104 key. Despite the article numbers they usually have browns, or occasionally clears not blacks. Sadly the USB versions of these are 2KRO not NKRO like the PS/2 ones. Good deal.

Desoldering those jumpers is not a fun task, though. ;)

I had a project once I actually wanted the switches with jumpers but I kind of abandoned that board.
But even with the 808 you get the occasional jumper with a tiny bit of solder on it that just doesn't want to come off.

I saw that mentioned elsewhere with the Browns, but didn't seen any confirmation. Thanks for confirming.

Are you referencing the wire that's in the housing? I had a board with those, they were more annoying that diodes.
-
After desoldering loads of G80... the trick to jumper wires is make sure one side is desoldered perfectly, leave the other side soldered down. Pull the switch out hard and it will usually come through the switch clean and you won't have to open them later to remove the wire bits.

Just an FYI, the seller accepted an offer of $35

Mine has cherry brown switches :blank:
Browns should have been expected.

And they should be nice and broken in Browns.
And like I said in the OP, I'm more than willing to take some switches off people's hands to do some terrible lube testing I want to do.

I probably need 20 or so. I have some terrible terrible things I want to do to them. Think like the infamous alternative heatsink TIM review from the early web 2.0 days.

my favorite thing about these boards: numpad keys are ds with NO secondary legends... I never thought I'd see these in the wild. much good karma to you, nubs for posting these boards!

I'm just sad I forgot to grab one for myself until it was the last one. Then it went to someone else.
