Title: Hello!
Post by: movingpictures on Fri, 20 March 2015, 06:44:58
Hello everyone! I got my first mechanical keyboard two years ago, a Zowie Celeritas with Mx Brown switches. I fell in love with it straight away and started to get interested in the rest of the keyboard universe. I recently purchased a Ducky Shine 3 with Mx Red and white leds, and it's one awesome keyboard  :) As I live in Sweden there aren't many quality keyboards with iso nordic keycaps to choose from besides Ducky, but on the other hand it gets more exciting when something new comes to the market   :thumb:

Welcome to Geekhack!

As mechanical keyboards become more popular, hopefully there will be more international layouts available.

Certainly more group buys these days are supporting various international layouts :)

Thank you! I just saw that the new Pok3r will have iso nordic as an option, needless to say, I'm super excited  :)

Ahh yes, the struggle of the nordic layouts.
I'd say, try to learn to type on a blank board that way you won't be limited by the print on the caps and you buy what you think looks good :)

Anyway, welcome to geekhack neighbor  :thumb:

Nice :)

I suspect we're going to see a lot more new members joining with a Poker 3!

Thanks neighbor  :) I can type on blanks but I'm the conservative type and I really like my iso-enters  :p But as you say it's incredibly limiting keycaps-wise with iso layouts
