First time I've looked at a 2560x1440.
300 looks good considering I've been looking at other IPS panels for 250+ that's 1080.

For me it's $349.99. $300 would be a good price though

They have a $50 off coupon included when you add it to your cart.

Need to use code: EMCAPNK22
for the lowered price :)

Thinking about picking one up :3

Looks nice. I wouldn't mind having one but I already have 2 23 inch Dell ips monitors and a lcd acer. Gotta save dem funds for keyboards :d.

I'm on that monitor right now. Worlds of difference from a 1920x1080 TN panel. Had it for ~6 months and it's really nice. Definitely recommend it if you're in the market for a new screen. However, it's gone on sale many many times before at $300 so it's not an amazing deal.

I'm on a HP 2511x now. It's a 25" IPS and I don't think you can get it anymore as I got it 3-4 years ago. I was hoping for at least the same quality picture.

I was tempted, although I already have one of the Korean 27" panels. The thought of "three year warranty through a company which actually has a US presence" and "inputs that aren't just dual-link DVI" are appealing, but I can't justify blowing three hundred bucks on it when I have a perfectly good monitor and not enough room to do a proper dual-screen setup. I'm using a 17 as a second monitor and that's almost falling off the desk.

It would look just as nice, if not slightly better! Not to mention the real estate difference!!!
Well worth it!

I guess the decision was made for me, they are sold out :)) .....

I ended up getting one at 12:30 CST. I'll finally upgrade my 20" 1600x900.

Nice snag

I almost impulse bought it last night, but waited to be sure I wanted to go through with it. I guess I got lucky.

Maybe you can do some kind of review when you get it ;)
-
Yeah I can do that. Its going to be a huge step up for me, so I'll try not to be biased.

Quick update for anyone that cares. I got the monitor in yesterday. It is massive. I knew that 27" monitors were big, but I didn't expect them to be that big. Anyway, overall its killer. No dead/stuck pixels. Zero backlight bleed. If you are looking to make the jump to 1440p and can pick this monitor at this price, do it. I know people have fairly positive reviews on the Korean panels, but I'd recommend this over them simply due to the 3 year warranty.
If anyone has questions let me know.
