I recently made the (?) mistake of looking down the mechanical keyboard rabbit hole, and now there is no turning back.  This is the place for keyboards, so here I am!

My project is in R&D stages right now, and I think 90%+ of the GH community will appreciate it so I'll tease: Microsoft Natural Ergonomic 4000 ... with Cherry MX switches.  A build thread will be forthcoming but for now it's mostly vaporware.

I think I saw your Ergo 4000 thread somewhere recently!  Either that, or someone else is doing the same conversion on the same model keyboard at the same time :p

Which wouldn't surprise me, actually!

I have seen this attempted once, ever, elsewhere online.  It did not look great when it was "finished."  We'll see how mine goes.
