Yay! It'll still be a month before i have it in my hands. Pretty exciting. My drunken cousin in India managed to score one for me, he's going to bring it back with him in a month or so.
Want to know the cost? $25! Lol.
Easily the cheapest blue cherry board in the world, me thinks.
And while its been panned on this site, I'm holding out hope that it'll be useable -- quirky, but useable. I dont mind wobbly keys and that was a big part of the reason it got panned here.
-
The wobbly key problem can probably be easily solved by a different set of tighter-fitting keycaps.
-
wouldnt all cherry keys fit on there the same way though?

Not at all. Judging from the various Cherry-compatible-switch keyboards I have...the keycaps can have degrees of precision on the keystem, and thus different degrees of fit on the keyswitch.
For example, the keyfeel is more solid on my Scorpius M10 since I put the tighter-fitting blank Filco keycaps on it.
-
That must work out cheaper than buying 104/105 seperate Blue Cherry switches...
If Lowpoly ever gets around to mass producing his wunderboards, I think a trip to India would be advised!
-
We can all get drunk with his cousin too!
I think he'd like that :)
Wondering how to thank him for the keyboard. Hmmm, maybe a 6-pack of negra modelo. :D

Well since you're the OP we can go OT for a while - I thought all Indian beer was that watery lager stuff?
its called india pale ale or something. asian beer in general is very light. (the japanese have a dry version, like sapporo.) Not many ale's produced in asia, for some reason.
They have gin though.
I used to drink Negra Modelo all the time in Mexico much to the horror of my friends. Back in the 80's it was considered "lower class beer" by the locals.
so was corona I think. And rolling rock, before they bumped up the prices and stocked them in the back of the freezer; then it became yuppy beer ;)
I've liked blue moon lately. Its the beer the cop drank at the beer summit with obama.

I love IPA. I don't drink it much right now, though, as the extra hops makes it a better cold-weather beer, IMO. Along with Negra Modelo (I don't really like "regular" Modelo; it's too light for me), I really like Bohemia.
Corona and Tecate absolutley suck. Dos Equis is borderline.
-
Oh dear. That stuff is not good for you. Pure isopropanol.
I'm trying to get help.

IPA? Not bad stuff...
Old speckled hen, bishops finger and Old Peculiar are my other favourites.
Not bad for someone who rarely drinks ;-)

Yech...I hate when I accidentally get rubbing alcohol on my hands...
Rubbing alcohol == isopropyl alcohol, right?

Correct.

Nearly.
Rubbing Alcohol is denatured (Or poisoned) to make it undrinkable.

It can be made of isopropyl alcohol, which in turn is supposed twice as toxic as ethyl alcohol. In the case it is made of ethyl alcohol (ethanol), it is denatured or bitter as hell.
But at any rate, rubbing alcohol is likely to contain extra chemical compounds meaning it just isn't a replacement for a bottle of isopropyl alcohol nor a bottle of pure ethanol.

Well, I was nearly there.
Should have paid more attention to the chemistry teacher, not the girls with large breasts in school...
