Love the colors but I don't have a BS board.

I'm not entering but if I had to choose only one car to drive for the rest of my life it'd be the orange F1 GTR that McLaren still owns, the one they wouldn't give LH. Or an F40 LM or a stick RS6 Avant or an R34. Yeah making up my mind isn't going to happen. Thanks for the giveaway.

Not entering BTW.

Wow, nice giveaway!

My dream car is the GT500 Eleanor (the one from gone in 60 seconds). I would also be very happy with any car that's close to this.

As for BS boards, that's all I use. Got an AT F at job and F122 at home, with 2 XT's for future projects. My old filco is accumulating dust sadly, but I ain't sad of all my F!

In 2008 after winning the drivers championship in F1 Lewis Hamilton requested that instead of getting a bonus from McLaren he'd like the F1 GTR they had. McLaren laughed and just gave him the money because the car meant too much to the company.

Thanks for doing this giveaway; I got a SSK that wouldn't mind having another artisan occupy one of its keys :)

I'm sorry that I won't be able to tell you which is my favourite car, as I believe that there are lots of special cars that all have their own uniqueness and significance that picking one favourite is impossible, but I'll do it anyway.

One of my favourite cars of all time is the Mercedes E60 AMG Limited.

Now, you might ask, what's so special about a factory-tuned E500? Isn't it just an old Mercedes?

Well, to explain, in the 90s, when Porsche was going deep in the red, they went around Stuttgart knocking on the doors of local companies to see if anyone would offer them extra work, with one of the companies being Mercedes.

At the same time, BMW had just released the M5, a luxury sports sedan, which Mercedes at the time did not have anything to go against.

Due to the coincidental circumstances of the time, Mercedes thought, how about we just give Porsche our W124 (E-class chassis), and the 5.0L V8 from our SL500 coupe, and see if they can figure it out?

Porsche ended up widening the stock W124 chassis, widened fender flares, robbed the parts bin of their own vehicles for suspension, and used their own Recaro seats, one individual one per seat, and this was how the 500E was born (later name-changed to E500 due to Mercedes's naming scheme).

The E60 AMG is an even more special model, with AMG building a 6.0L version of the V8 engine, and only 12 of the Limited models were made during the end of the production cycle.

This was the first and last time that Porsche ever made cars for another manufacturer, and where else can you find a 4-door sedan powered by an AMG 6.0L V8 engine, with Porsche suspension and tuning, four individual Porsche/Recaro bucket seats, handcrafted at the Porsche factory merely meters away from the 911s?

It took them 18 days to complete each one, having to ship it back and forth between the two companies.

Electric cars can have a ridiculous amount of torque, they don't have to wait for the motor to build power  .. hit the gas and you get full power instant

But I can't even fashion how those batteries were engineered  while it was in development.

If you mean actually faster than a Ferrari it'll be the Model S P85D or a P85, a normal 85D does 0-60 in 5.4ish.

The 1937 Cord was pretty wicked, as pre-WW2 autos go.

But if I had the money, the Tesla S would be my ride today.

For something stock, i would have to say either a '59 Impala or '59 El Camino.

For a built/tuned car it would have to be Ken Blocks '65 all wheel drive, 845 HP Mustang.  The only thing that is left stock is the "A" pillars, "B" pillars, and the roof.

Here is the video showcasing the parts and the build of the car.

For reference, I have an AT and an XT both converted to USB.

I have never been in the position to try :(

There is a luxury car place I see from the train on the way home opened not that long ago.  They have a white one in the window, and 2 Diablos (I think, not familiar with those from the rear) either side of it.  Can't see what else they have in the showroom.

I'll have a BS keyboard as soon as my F 107 arrives later today, does that count? :P

Favorite car, gonna go with... My car.

(Not my actual car, but it's midnight here, I'm not going to go take a picture of my car in the dark. It's the same thing as mine though.)

2010 Hyundai Accent, hatchback, Ice Blue. Mine's a manual transmission, specifically requested that since I hate automatics. It's not a powerful car by any stretch of the imagination but it does what I need it to, and the thing is seriously a TARDIS. I have fit SO much crap in this tiny thing. I moved a 6.5ft ladder bookshelf in it once. Put down the back seat, cranked the front passenger seat up, boom. It actually will fit five people in it. Moved cross-country with only it with an inane amount of stuff crammed into it.

Got forced off the freeway into the median strip going 85 miles an hour in the middle of Nebraska by some jackhole with a giant pickup truck and a massive trailer during that move and it handled beautifully, didn't fishtail or lose control, just a nice smooth swoop off the freeway to a smooth stop in the grass and a five minute after-the-fact panic attack before I got myself to a cop turnaround to get back on the freeway and off the nearest off-ramp to check for any potential damage(None). Gets good mileage, handles the stupid hills around here fine due to being stick, it's just a nice solid car.

I like my car.

I'm also fond of those 50s chromejobs with the fins and the ridiculous Bugatti Veryron, but I like my Accent best.

For some reason the Mercedes Benz SLS has always been my favorite.

Not much of a car person myself but it's always called to me and would be my first luxury car should I win the lottery ;)

You can still buy them brand new.  After DMC went under, some guy bought their warehouse + contents.  Last numbers I heard was $35,000 to $40,000.

Congrats Wilba! Enjoy it. :D

Haha I'm too busy basking in the glory of my new Model F to be mad or even jealous.

Good raffle!

Too bad IBM M/F keys are so under-represented in the artisan marketplace.

Well, if my MCS takes off, that shouldn't be a problem.  The issue there, of course, is the added cost, but it still makes caps more accessible to people.

I dunno man.... Either an AP1... Though you already have an NFR.... I'd have to add the Cayman GT4 to that list. Annnd and NA2 NSX...
