Title: need switch info on ask-6600 (dsi or solidtek)
Post by: wellington1869 on Fri, 04 September 2009, 18:00:45
if anyone has the ask-6600 (there are dsi and solidtek makes, I believe) keyboard, would love to see a pic of the guts of the switch... I know its supposed to have white alps clones, but I'm thinking of buying this board for modding, and need to know if it has XM's or regular bigfoot style switches...

thanks!

If these have bigfoot style click leafs, then at $45 shipped (avail all over the place - ebay, buy.com, even amazon, as well as dsi site; and you can usually apply some coupon on top of that), this is probably THE cheapest source of clicky "white" alps switch leafs. (In contrast, "black" (non clicky) alps are relatively easy to get cheap - just buy an at101w for 10 bucks on ebay ;)
