At least I think they're Japanese.  Sublegends look pad printed.  Main legends may be doubleshot or pad printed.

I'm tempted...what converter do I need for that connector? Or will I need to make a Teensy box?

The legends on the right of the alphas are Taiwanese phonetic characters. The ones in the bottom right are Chinese words.

You sure this is Alps though? Could also be MX or Futaba.
