Yep, but at the same time, it's better for my budget right now. Also, with the work of some awesome geekhackers, a custom model F should be possible in a relatively near future.

Which no doubt is why their current keyboards are crap by comparison. I've always thought the best (and perhaps only worthwhile) aspect of their 1980's-era PC's was the glorious keyboards that came with them. If they had made their PC's performance-competitive with their fiercest competition (Dell being a good example), they might still be in the PC business and doing well with it.
