Good day guys, this is an interest check on OTD compatible A87 PCB.
I have gotten some quotation, the MOQ is 10pcs, price per PCB would be around $50 (with everything soldered except for diodes and resistors) depending on the color and plate finishing. Available colors are black, red, white, green, yellow, blue. Matte black/green would be more expensive, around $70.
So why do you want a A87 on your OTD board?
- you need extra pcb
- you want full led on your OTD board
- keymap, more layout layers, fn+?
- swag
Right now, I am desoldering my 360c so that I could get the right dimension. As far as I know, the OTD pcb layout is a little different from standard A87. It would be great if someone could tell me the differences.
-
ill take 4 if you go ahead with this
-
Would the PCBs support ISO like the B87?
If so, I'd take a bunch. I'll get custom ISO plates made up.
-
Yeah i would be in for one or two for sure. :thumb:

It's very possible. But before I can proceed any further, I need to work out the dimension.
Do you have any switch pitch dimension for the OTD board?
-
Ehm would it be possible to make a similiar pcb to the original but make some holes for iso and add a custom controller? :)
-
interested if ISO.

I would guess it's 19.05mm just like every other board. I will see if I can take a measurement of my 360c to confirm it :)
-
I measure it to be 19.025mm, rather than the standard 19.05mm.
It's very hard to measure it accurately without an unsoldered PCB though. It could quite easily be 19.00mm.
It definitely is not 19.05mm though.
-
I'll desolder and take a caliper measurement this evening.
-
just finish desoldering. Should have the drawing ready in about an hour time.
once I am done, I will upload here for you guys to verify. finger crossed.
-
If you make a Mini-compatible PCB let me know ;)
-
Would definitely buy at least 2
-
Interested in iso. What controller do you use? Very interested also in the case, if you are planning that.
-
Not planning to make any case at this moment.
btw, I have done with the plate drawing
tt would be great if someone can confirm that this plate will work with the current pcb and case,
because the new a87 pcb will be designed based on the plate drawing.
thank you.

damn :( this gets more love than kmacs
-
So...which boards would this PCB fit inside of?

OTD boards =D

Hey guys, so is this happening? I would love to grab 2 :D

Not all OTD boards use the same PCB
-
I might take one or two

Will you able to draw a half plate as well?
-
What color of the pcb? I am interesting in yellow or red
-
i would be interested in one or two of these. :)

Broseph... why no post in LYN?
Nonetheless, sign me up for 1 set at least (diode and resistor soldered).
