I noticed they put this up few weeks ago but no one seems to talked about it so far:
http://www.maxkeyboard.com/products/cherry-mx-keycap/ansi-layout-keycap-set.html
Anyone know the quality of these and also if they are sourced from the same place as WASD Keyboards?
The are pretty much half price compared to WASD Keyboards though, and they even offer customizing options.
Very tempting.

I had difficulty navigating the website, but suspect it isn't custom printing of legends on backlight compatible keycaps a la WASD. If not they would be able to do a roaring business in no time at all!
-
Oh they're just generic ABS blanks. The customization is for colour arrangements.
Such as this one:
http://www.maxkeyboard.com/custom-color-cherry-mx-full-replacement-keycap-set-blank.html
And you can pick the colours using this:
http://www.maxkeyboard.com/custom-color-blank-keycap/
Then you can have customized blanks.
I guess WASD offer printing options on top of this. But even so Max Keyboard's price is like $25 while WASD is $50.

Yeah and the overall quality of the keycaps is not as high as the WASD keysets for blanks. However, the MAX keysets seem to be a bit more textured.
I had to get a blank set to get a Bottom row with spacing for a 6.0 spacebar (a customized Razer BW I use at work with Vortex Doubleshot PBT and TEX Clear O-rings).
Now, whats odd to me is that their translucent and transparent keycaps are actually much nice made and have a lot less bend to them. They are slightly thicker according to my digital calipers, but I can't remember by how much.
its all about whether or not you really have a choice in the matter.

Yeah I think the translucent keys were made from a different place I think.
Or at least I think so since they had those a while back and the blank ABS are new products.
But I guess it's too good to be true, you do pay for what you get. :P
Thanks for clearing that up ! :thumb:

Yeah, looks like Signature Plastics makes the transparent keycap sets for them:
