So it seems clear, that the question is not WOULD one kill.. Rather .. WHY..

I don't think direct murder is so necessary to accomplish tasks in modernity..

But certainly, Everyone does their own share of indirect killing..

This office job is killing me..

This factory job is killing me..

This discussion i'm thinking /writing up is killing me..

Now whether that sum amounts to 1 entire person's worth (of productive hours) over the course of one's own duration of life..

That counting is hard, because it's arbitrary as to where you start.. as every one of us is at one point solar energy.

I could see him propping the body up in a chair in his apartment for weeks, at first not sure what to do with it, but then just for the company.

You're taking that out of context.. The rest of my post explains that the trade is continuous..

and that EVERYONE does their share of "killing" because the beginning of life, somewhere along the lines, requires consumption of "living resources"..

If we look at the mothers and child relationships..

Women who have more children usually live shorter lives on average than those who have less..

So when you count this up.. Children consume living hours of the mother..

The TERM killing is not so distinctly defined in this discussion..

Absolutely there should be no Point-less killing..

But when you kill and eat fried chicken.. Killing is an energy conversion process..

SO my point is referring to this "conversion process"..

And I attempted to highlight that it's arbitrary to quantify " 1 " life..

From the other thread. all of a single human's productive lifespan is worth ~10,000 chickens in calories
