I really want to buy a yamaha qx3 for the hirose cherry mx orange or clear switches, some pics of the switches: http://www.geocities.jp/wp_gopher/keyboard/ma287mxo.html
-
This? Btut not sure this is the best way to get just those switches.

BTW, I can't proxy.
-
Then do u know any other ways of obtaining it?
-
I live in america, so that may not be the best option for me
-
I think it was exported quite a bit to your country.
Set ebay notification for it and wait for months? if not in a hurry

It is a lot more expensive here though, and I don't understand the japanese captchas I need to get the yahoo japan account or even bid on anything.

Saw something in the last thread in these about the hirose stem being smaller? Would one be able to fit standard MX caps on these?

Do you know anyone who could? Or maybe you could just pick it up and I could find someone to proxy
-
wow geocities is alive
-
the MX caps will fit on hirose sw, but not the another way around, that means you cant havest caps from the board for your other MX boards
but it has quad-shot keycaps worth collecting though
-
You can just hire agent. I think many people use proxy service or agent.
google "yahoo action proxy" or "yahoo auction agent".
If you don't have address in Japan you can't create account, I think.

Thanks, are you sure you need to have a japan address?
-
You have to receive registered mail from Yahoo to identify yourself. I don't think they send the mail oversea address.
Ah, Wait. It is needed only for seller. Just bidder don't have to do this process.
-
oh, it seems like someone from oversea placed a bid on this. Is it you? If so good luck!

no, it isn't, so i just need the proxy thing?
-
how do i deal with captcha again? I mean stuff like this:https://account.edit.yahoo.co.jp/registration?.src=auc&.done=http%3A%2F%2Fpage15.auctions.yahoo.co.jp%2Fjp%2Fauction%2Ft422447825&sr_required=birthday%20gender%20postcode%20deliver
Im not sure about any other way to do it other than some captcha bypasser.

Unless you are familiar with Japanese you better use proxy service. Most sellers don't ship to overseas or your country.
But you don't have to be in hurry for this QX3, it doesn't cost 60 bucks usually 20 or 30.
-
really? I was asking my brother living in Jp watching this for me but he said the buy it now price was 158000 (that "希望小売価格: 158,000円(税抜)" thing) which is crazy so I give up
-
Its MSRP of 1987 :)
Hmm, vintage musical machine market is interesting...
-
How do I use this proxy service?
