It's 80F in your house??? I would be miserable. Anything above 74 inside and I'm sweating like crazy. Outside I'm not very sensitive to temperature, but inside it's important.

Fun fact: Bald Eagles don't sound like you think they do (http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=156187375).
**** the imperial system
Generally agree, but I prefer it for woodworking/shop measurements. This is not because of the precedent that is set... I just find it is more intuitive.
It is exactly because of the precedent that is set. Especially since Canada didn't switch until 1975.
As someone who did not grow up with the Imperial system it doesn't make a lick of sense. At all...
I'm Dutch but I have a hard time dealing with cold even though I love winter and cycling in the snow. Probably because I'm too tall and skinny.
25-30C is the most comfortable temperature but it depends heavily on humidity.
At 90% humidity, 30C is uncomfortable but at 30% humidity, 45C is downright nice with the exception of the need for a hat and lots of water... and the constant nosebleeds. **** I hated those last time I was in the SouthWest during August.

A/C cold and outside cold are two different things.
80F is hot as hell. I start to sweat and palms will sweat. 75 is getting better, but 70 is nice. 65 would get too cold after sometime of doing nothing.
