Solid deal if someone can pick this up.
-
I would have taken it myself if it was local.
-
I would have been tempted if it was local, although then I'd probably never get around to properly fixing my other full size M.
-
What's wrong with your other full size M?

What's wrong with your other full size M?
Apart from a dozen missing keycaps ( ;) ) it needs a bolt mod. Half the keyboard doesn't feel right and at least a dozen rivets fell out when I opened the case.
-
You too, huh? When I cleaned my M, I lost no less than 12 rivets and it really needs a bolt mod to restore it to its former glory.
I assume the incoming keycaps will at least make your one look like it's in good condition?

Hopefully :)
Although they're (two full size Model M) both been sitting on the shelf since I got my second SSK.

I lost no less than 12 rivets
When I opened my "New-In-Box" SSK from Cindy last year, it had 22 broken rivets, mostly on one side.
I would call 12 "about average" .....
-
Yeah, it's still fully functional and I still prefer it to my Cherry and Alps boards, but it has lost the crispness of its feeling.

Thanks, picked it up for 30$. Swell guy, threw in a nice bag with it.

Welcome to Geekhack!
A nice acquisition - welcome to the world of buckling springs :)

Haha, thanks. I've been reading the forums for the past couple of days and this ended up being lucky timing.
But now I want an industrial gray SSF..... :(

SSK? Good luck with that! They are few and far between, and usually well above US$800
