So, I've got three Model M keyboards. Two in various states of servicing and repair. One of which I use on a daily basis, that being my Unicomp Model M. I've also got an Adesso Mkb-125b which I use with my Mac for working.
As the entire universe knows, these things are loud and people notice. That's why I'm being forced to get something a bit more quiet for daily use.
Here's my list of what I'm looking for/not looking for.
1. Under $100 USD, I'm flexible though. But probably no HHKB for this guy.
2. Relatively quiet, quieter than blues and buckling springs at least.
3. Preferably not blues, even dental banded blues. I thoroughly enjoy blues and I can type fast with my Adesso but not very accurate with those. Low actuation point? I don't know to be honest.
4. Not tenkeyless, I need those. I also need arrow keys.
5. Good for both typing and gaming. Then again, I use my Model M for gaming.
So that's the list of features I'd like to have/not have. So far, I've only come up with the Das Keyboard Professional with silent keys. Which I believe are MX Reds, correct me if I'm wrong.
Anybody want to throw some suggestions out there? ;D

For around $100, you could look at a Quickfire Ultimate, or for just a bit over $100 you could try a Filco Majestouch fullsize. If you really like clicky but it's too loud maybe you should try a tactile switch like clears.

Looking at the CM Storm on Amazon right now, thanks for the suggestion! Are MX Reds quieter than Browns? I'd honestly like to stay on the cheaper side though.
Also, I believe I've used MX Browns or Blacks while training with a Hunter alignment rack. Those seemed acceptable in the noise department.
