Turns out the 2001 can come with these as well. Guessing from the later Focus keyboards which sometimes came with these, I'm guessing this is one of the latest 2001 manufactured. Should be added to the wiki - Daniel around at all? :)
(It's a Cherry mount one too, maybe someone even wants to have a try at this? If not, should be Cherry compatible doubleshots at least.)

Should probably get moved to great finds. But I love my focus with mx compatible futabas, nice tactile switch. They're pretty loud though

MMM. wish my futaba switches were mx compatible. Great switches though. I'm typing this post on a keyboard with them.

How do they compare to Alps switches, would you say?

The 2001 lasted long enough to be available with winkeys... and later with power keys too (often with lasered caps) This one is not super new.

Aaaand it's gone xD .

Wow, a power key too? Do you have a picture somewhere of one like that? I kinda wonder what the last model of 2001 would have looked like...

They’re terrible. They feel terrible. They sound terrible. They’re barely tactile at all, the bottom out is mushy, and they click on the upstroke. When typing on them, everything seems sluggish and I’m continually afraid that a key didn’t actuate because of the mis-timed audio feedback.
People who claim to like them are trying to trick you.
(Also, if anyone wants to buy a Futaba board, I have a couple I’d love to get rid of.)

The pics I've seen show the editing block moved down a row to make room for power-sleep-wake keys.

b-but I like mine (is there a difference between regular switches and the mx-compatible ones?)

Want to buy a keyboard from me and find out? ;) [yeah, they’re pretty much the same]
