So I found this old Compaq keyboard NiB at a forum for sale and I was wondering if any of you could be able to help me find info on this board. I was not able to dig up much, but here's a picture of the thing.

A picture from the back of the keyboard where you usually find the product string and serial number would help when identifying a keyboard.
Can you post that?

I'll ask the seller.

The keyboard is a Compaq Enhanced 3 keyboard. So no need to answer anymore.

Is it a mechanical?

If it is the enhanced 3 like I think, it has Keytronic foam and foil switches.

Many Compaq keyboards were also made by NMB in the RT-2xxx's and RT-6xxx series (Right Touch) - Part number on the sticker under would say RT something
They were pretty decent rubber domes (RD) as already stated

if it's a decently used board the foam will be worn down enough that it'll feel substantially worse than a RD
