If I were in the market for a full sized keyboard. This would be it.

Great price for a great keyboard (probably my favorite full sized keyboard other than the Model M)

Nice try.

Those "sub par" caps are still better than the excrement included with stock MX boards (apart from Cherry Corporation boards).

I don't think you should use those either, but at least you can find a decent replacement set fairly easily for MX boards.

Decent replacement MX caps cost the same as Topre caps. Your argument is moot.

Comparable keycaps? Try free. The Type Heaven stock key caps are actually quite nice.

How would you justify buying this over a realforce then?

Unless you use the ****ty stock caps you're going to shell out over a hundred for decent replacements, when you could have just bought something with decent caps to begin with.

Because for 100 dollars less I can get the same typing feel with only slightly inferior keycaps?

Your whole argument hinges on the premise that you HAVE to replace the Type Heaven keycaps, and this is just not the case.

Having owned a Topre TypeHeaven I can say the keycaps are just fine.

The deal is only good through tomorrow only so I'm locking the thread so others won't use it as an outlet for their menstrual cycle.
