Title: Sad moment
Post by: Touch_It on Sat, 18 April 2015, 20:00:50
Stumbled upon a listing for an IBM personal computer keyboard for free in the Craigslist antiques section.  Post was a month old.  Just contacted the owner and it had went to the dump :(.  Shoulda told him it was worth ~70.  I'm assuming it was an XT and not AT.

That + posted in the wrong section + apparently didn't see my ad looking for keyboards matching that description :(

Some here mention that they regularly scour the wrong sections of various online auction/sale sites looking for just that - things listed in the wrong categories.

I might need to be more vigilant going forward.

I try to keep my gumtree searches quite vague for that reason, and my search results end up being around 70% musical keyboards, 20% desks with keyboard drawers, 15% full PCs, 4% rubber dome keyboards and 1% mechs.
