Because everyone blew their money on the TX1800 and the Duck Orion V2 already.
I would have jumped all over this the moment I saw the post if I had more money :-X
Great Price. GLWS!

If I didn't blow my money on the orion v2 i'd be on it.
or if it was a viper i'd be all over it.

Thanks for the 'ups' everyone!
appleonama, I can fill in the space in the case with JBWeld, and cut off the offending areas of the PCB, and make a Viper. Would that work for you?
Yes, I'm definitely kidding :)

So is this Alps compatible? And what else do I need to buy?
-
You'll need switches, stabs, and LEDs (if you want them). That should be it. It is the same kit featured in the Eagle group buy.
From the group buy thread:
Full keymapping
Supports MX and ALPs switches
Full LED and side LED compatible. Side LED is red by default (on PCB)
Switches and stabilizers not included (MX requires Cherry PCB Stabilizers)

Does your plate support Alps or will the buyer need to get a different plate? I noticed that group buy thread had the files for an Alps plate and it seems the stock plate is for Cherry switches only.

Plate does not support ALPS switches. This is the original kit for the group buy. An ALPS plate was not a purchase option. OP updated.
