Title: Possible Oldschool 1877 Cherry Compatible Keys? GRI 757K
Post by: andCoffee on Tue, 21 April 2015, 14:56:27
I was looking for some keys to harvest and ran across this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/GRI-Computer-Keyboard-757K-Vintage-1977-KR2376-/131469522981?ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:US:1123

I emailed the guy and asked for a photo of the bottom of the keys.  They look to be Cherry shape, but I'm unsure on the size.  Unfortunately, because I have a NovaTouch, those stems are way too round to fit in the topre hole that surrounds the Cherry stem.  Also, it's kinda pricey to take a full risk... but maybe someone here is up for the chance.

These keycaps will not fit on a MX switch.  There needs to be room around the stem of the keycap to allow it to be pressed down.
