Title: What is this switch?
Post by: chyros on Wed, 22 April 2015, 06:27:16
I'm sure I've seen it before, but I can't remember what it was. Couldn't find it back on the wiki either.

Fujitsu Peerless.

Nope.

Looks to some sort of spring over membrane switch though.

It's a dome with slider design, but I don't know which one. Looks like they're Alps stems.

If anything it looks like a Futaba Inverse Cross Mount, but it definitely isn't one.

The switches are Alps-compatible, but the caps that come with them have a longer bar than Alps caps.

I'm very sure I've seen them somewhere before, so they can't be THAT rare, but I can't for the life of me remember where or what it was.

Do you mean they can use Alps caps?  Those sliders are definitely not compatible with Alps housings and I highly doubt they are independent switches that have the same pinout as an Alps switch.

Like I said, I can almost guarantee that's a spring over membrane.

Oh yeah, I'm sure it is, I can see it beneath the slider xD . Here's a pic of what's under the slider, and the slider from the other side (the system looks almost exactly the same as Fujitsu Peerless).
