Picked up another one of these bad boys sans the stock cable that originally came with it. The original *removable* stock cable has a ps/2 male (keyboard side) with DIN 5 male (computer side).
Just running this through you guys: in the great unlikelihood of me finding an exact replacement, would I be okay to simply run a ps/2 male to male cable in place of the stock one described above?
Because all I believe is that the stock cable simply has the pin outs of the ps/2 matched to the din-5. Nothing proprietary at least to my knowledge.

Also, any sources for a right angled ps/2 male to straight ps/2 male cable?

Sure, PS/2 and AT are the same protocol. The only difference is the physical connector at the end.

Nope, a straight PS/2-PS/2 cable will not work.
In post #157 of Akimbo's thread I detail how to build a conventional PS/2 connection using a discarded cable from a donor board.

I'm fairly certain I have an original Omnikey cable I'd sell. If you're interested, drop me a PM and I'll look for it tomorrow.
