Yeah. Manny doesn't actually beat up people he thinks are inferior in his outside-the-ring life.

Maybe they both go down on first punch. It has happened. I done seen video.

The betting odds are pretty even this time around. Slight lean towards Pac.. Not sure if it's worth betting a lot.

Here's the thing..  They Rigged the Bradley fight "for sure" .. like it's obvious,  They made an insane amount of money on that one..  All the heavies high rollers from Overseas lost HUGE on that fight.

But I really wonder if they would rig this one..  I mean..

If you think about it,   Mayweather's not getting any younger,  there's really not much of a career left in EITHER fighters under the assumptions that the fights are real and (NOT rigged).

So,  If I was in mayweather's position.. I'd think  WHY NOT take a dive...

Anyway,  If I was betting on anything outside of "support" for manny,    That would be my mentality going in on Manny..

If I were to look at the game as a REAL fight, without the Politics of Casino-Controlled-influence..

It's obivious that Mayweather would win....

He's a bigger heavier guy than Manny by FAR...  and he's BLACK..

..That said..

NEver take analysis too far,  because it's pointless..  they change things up during the match, because the casino has SEVERAL channels to cover their bets, and they will always come out on top..

Hrrrmmm.. you think that's how they're gonna play it..  rematch?

Hrrrmmmmmmmmm......

For a rematch..  Floyd would have to lose.. sssss....  because if pacquiao loses, it wouldn't be that interesting of a rematch-back-story,

because pacquiao lost the bradley (rigged)  and was clearly bested by marquez..

The funniest thing to me is taking place outside the boxing ring. The Philippines has had to beg the citizens to turn off their air conds and fridges so as to conserve electricity for TVs, because they are afraid there may be riots if there is a blackout.

it's pretty unlikely,  it's not even that hot yet over there. (by their standards)

Exactly. The first rematch is so Floyd can win a bit of pride back, the third is so they can finish the best out of three.

Boxers

In my day it was "squeezies" and "breezies"

Only broadcloth fabric, silk is terrible, and no center button.

I do keep a few briefs and athletic supporters around for more strenuous and active physical endeavors.

Fighting for show does not interest me very much, even though I do hold a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.

If we are talking about underpants, I'm a boxer-briefs guy. I like the support. They double as a bathing suit for me so I can drop my pants anytime and show off my package and ass, too. Just ask the 30 people at the pool in the Wilkes Barre, PA, Holiday Inn 2 weeks ago.

Hrrrrmmm....

Given how much floyd has invested in his "brand", I now think he probably wouldn't agree to take a "dive"..

But a technical draw would be equally profitable for the casinos...

Maybe that's the grand scheme..   HRrrrrrrrmmmmm

Neither of those reasons are why Mayweather will win. Manny has beaten Margarito who was twice his size and crushed Mosley and Clottey. What wins Mayweather the fight is his intelligence and his ridiculous technical abilities. I'd say only Roy Jones Jr. surpasses him in raw ability.

That being said, I much prefer Manny as a fighter. Rooting for him all the way.

Did you watch those fights?

Those weren't real fights..   they were just rigged performances for the casinos..

Both times, pacquiao's opponent just stood still.

They also looked completely untired at the end of it.

Pacquiao had so many openings at the end, but they didn't go for it.. because it's not a real fight..

Boxing is a sport,  AND it's not.. due to the vegas involvement.

I watched those fights. Even if they were fixed, my point still stands - Manny would have beaten them anyway, fix or not. None of them have that elusive slickness or counterpunching ability that is Pacquiao's kryptonite.

But Mayweather will still beat Manny if Manny does not bring his 110% and basically not stop punching for 12 rounds. The only way Manny can win is to steal rounds with work rate. This will likely happen the first few rounds as Mayweather adjusts to his speed and southpaw. Then it will be Mayweather who takes over.
