Title: Looking for a decent KB to travel with
Post by: Cafiend on Fri, 01 May 2015, 19:18:55
It sickens me to buy a cheap KB. But, i'm looking for a decent keyboard to use on my travels.

Non-mechanical, something under 50$ or around there. It has to fit into my luggage (not carry-on)

It would be used for my Thinkpad W510 during my off time. General use and playing .. EQ Project 1999 ( I didn't think that 15 years later I would still get sucked into addiction with EQ, but i'm loving it!)

I can't stand typing on this laptop, or any laptop really. Any suggestions would be appreciated. And apologies for non-mech talk.

Been eyeing this but it's BT ... http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BU4OV50/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=3V81UB98HXU7V&coliid=I2DSOZ3IQ7TKOD (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BU4OV50/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=3V81UB98HXU7V&coliid=I2DSOZ3IQ7TKOD)

(Corros on P99)

What is wrong with just using the ThinkPad?

Matias makes some folding keyboards: http://matias.ca/foldingkeyboard/ (http://matias.ca/foldingkeyboard/)

The USB version is $50 on their site. The BT is $70. I don't know if you can get them elsewhere for less or not.

Awesome, thanks. I think I will look into these.

Nothing is wrong with the thinkpad KB it's just very uncomfortable for me.
