Nice. Anyone knows what plastic are the key caps made from?POM :thumb:
Yikes. Getting very temptedIndeed! I think if, for some reason, it drops to $50 I'm buying. Only thing preventing me now is I'm fairly certain they're PCB mount like every other g80-3000. Hate PCB mount...
The 1.25x keycaps in the bottom row has centered stem, and the spacebar has off centered stem.Just like any other Cherry G80-3000. ;)

Can anyone recommend a cheap set of inexpensive lettered caps for this? I'm thinking of picking this up for the family computer. Young kids have a tough enough time using the keyboard, don't want to make them hate me and setup a blank keyboard to use...
Tai Hao caps (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826997063&cm_re=keycaps-_-26-997-063-_-Product). I think mechanicalkeyboards.com has them as well.

Cool! Thanks. I was overshooting on price with my searches (or just finding TKL), those'd be perfect!
Worth it 100% these are excellent caps even used/shinyShow Image(https://c2.staticflickr.com/8/7716/17126819405_ac0403da11_o.jpg)
I am considering picking up a second
The only downside is 2KRO, which is why I opted for the 3494 for my DAS II caps

I decided to pull the trigger. Started with an offer of $45, then $50, both immediately rejected. $55 went through, though, and with free shipping that is certainly fair.

Darn i didn't try to bring them down at all, figured 59 was pretty cheap shipped anyway!
Ha, those look pimp. Much better than the newer designs imo.
These caps look good basically anywhere...
I was removing the caps from the board and saw something weird under one of the caps. Upon further inspection it appears my board came with a complimentary fingernail :))

Just so you know, I don't think they all come with a complementary fingernail.
Last one. I think I've managed to hold off on this one.

My $55 Das Keyboard arrived, and it was in very good shape. I tested the keys (all worked), popped the blank POM keycaps, vacuumed out the fluff, found an extra keyboard spring from who-knows-where, popped in the side-printed POM keycaps I got a few days ago (all but the space and the capslock fit, which doesn't really matter to me, I just used the originals). I'm posting this in the "What did you get in the mail today?" thread, but here are the pictures:
As it looked like unboxed, with blank POM keycaps:

As it looked like without keycaps:

And finally, as it looks right now as I type:

If you notice the trash bag under it -- well, I wanted to make sure the mystery fluff didn't get anywhere before I got rid of it. It was surprisingly clean, though.

Where are the side-printed POM from?
Snarfangel, would you be able to post close up photos of the bottom of the keycaps between DAS POM and the aliexpress side print?
Just want to get an idea of the thickness. If Keycool made them they should be thin; however I've never seen Keycool make a set of their caps without the media functions so I'm not completely sure if they made them.
Sorry about the shadows, I took the picture under my desk lamp on top of a speaker.

No what I meant was, can you show the difference between a POM keycaps off the DAS and the POM from aliexpress. :)
