Title: Dyed my keycaps with iDye Poly. Could not be happier.
Post by: Baron Von Clop on Sun, 03 May 2015, 18:09:12
I finally got fed up with not being able to find the colors I wanted (dark purple and turquoise) so to hell with it, I said. I'll just make my own!

Got a cheap set of blank PBTs for $20 and iDye Poly off of Amazon and bam, I love it!

Anyone else dye caps? I'd love to see!

That is cool! I wonder what the wear resistance is on that? I have heard of dyeing keycaps, but that is very striking.

Looks really good! I dyed my hhkb modifiers a while ago:

I would assume no wear, it's the plastic itself that is colored. You'd have to sand it down quite a bit to remove the color.

Fantastic results! I'm going to have to buy a set of blanks and try this in the near future.
