Which colour combo do you guys like the best?
I'm thinking the black top/silver bottom looks great, but do any of you prefer an 100% black or 100% silver colour scheme instead?

This board is real nice :thumb:
Just found this. http://lzlife.tistory.com/entry/INTRO
Also it says LZ is starting in 5/12/15 but there is already a post up for the GB as of 5/8/15

Photeq - what is it about the name you don't like?
Another meaning is Cheese Pizza, which is probably offending Photek more than anything else /sJust found this. http://lzlife.tistory.com/entry/INTRO (http://lzlife.tistory.com/entry/INTRO)

CP is Child Porn in some circles. It's really only offensive if you spend way too much time on the Internet. :p
I think you don't need to get proxy. You can order one through LZ's international order with English version: http://lzlife.tistory.com/entry/LZ-CP-GB

Payment deadline is 5/27, so it would have to be before then. Right?
I placed an order as well last Friday and send an email this Monday because it looked like nothing happened, but with a swift reply that the order came through and invoice etc will start on this Friday. About the same text as the last forumpost. :thumb:
Just paid my invoice. Seems like LZ doesn't offer assembly service. :(
You may notice the note next to my name. LZ noted that "with out full assembled price". I asked him in the form if he could fully assemble it for me, then I get that note, so I guess he doesn't offer it. Not sure about ninjadoc's order.Just paid my invoice. Seems like LZ doesn't offer assembly service. :(
How do you know? I see ninjadoc on the invoice and it shows that he has paid for assembly services!
Ah, I think he just offers soldering, but not full assembly.

When you want assembly options you need to discuss it with LZ via email as he said. I have had boards assembled by him in a past group buy but I don't know if it is routinely offered or not.

An e-mail just arrived telling me the LZ CP is ready to be shipped :p
I' am stoked ;D

I just got an email today asking for address confirmation so I think I should be getting mine soon also :D

Just spent about five hours soldering all the SMD components (I could swear half of that time was spent flipping the parts the right way up). Anyway, tried plugging it up with the PC, and noticed that only RGB1 to RGB6 (the RGB LEDs) stayed lit up, while the others only flashed very briefly. Anyone else seeing this? Not sure if it's actually a problem - the connection to the other LEDs are there, since they flashed, but I'm still a bit puzzled. And on that note, is there documentation for this board somewhere?
I am new to Geekhack an missed the GB. is there any way to get one of these still? This board is the exact layout i had in my mind when I started searching for a custom board and found geek hack.Only way would to get one would be to buy one from someone in the group buy in the classifieds. However there are only 14 people who participated so the chances might be slim..

This going to sound really noobish, but can someone link the resistors(?) necessary for the Capslock, ScrollLock, NumLock LEDS please?

They are, I think size, 2012. The values should be different since the LEDs have different colours, but the ones LZ provided are all 821s (820 Ohm).

Thank you, but I can't seem to find resistors of that size, could you please link a shop? Also, would these be good as the diodes? http://ca.mouser.com/Search/ProductDetail.aspx?R=1N4148TRvirtualkey61370000virtualkey78-1N4148
If someone would just post a build-log with the components and location of said components that would be amazing.
I had a look at the electronics today and soldered switch resistors and diodes. A first test of the matrix revealed that not all keys are working for me. Most keys of the number pad do not signal. A closer look at this showed that Atmega pins PD5, PD6 and PD7 don't work. My soldering work looks ok so I assume its firmware related.
Can somebody confirm this?
Did people receive tracking numbers after their stuff shipped? I got an email saying my order was ready but that was it.You should get a email soon saying it's shipped. From past exp Order ready means that all your ordered parts there boxed but not shipped.
I got mine last week and now its done.
Its built with lubed stock black gateron switches with clear cover and mill max sip.Show Image(http://i.imgur.com/fCFoL4m.jpg)

Anyone can tell me how this keyboard is programmed? I think I've read somewhere that programming goes through TMK, but now I can't find anything on it.

Good luck with them!
Without JigOn I can sometimes connect the keyboard and have it working, the rest of the times the RGB LEDs flashes rainbow colours, but the keyboard is otherwise non-functional.I got exactly the same problem, I connected the keyboard to my pc, only got the RGB LEDs flashes, and the PC doesn't recognize the keyboard, nothing is functional, I got this notice everytime I plug kb in:

Well it doesn't work for me, but thanks!Okay I'm not sure if this applies to your case, but I've got mine working by first disconnecting the keyboard, start JigOn, and then connect the keyboard. Doing it in this sequence seems to allow me to programme the keyboard. It seems that if I start JigOn with the board connected to the computer, the board will enter some where state where the custom settings are either lost or the board is non-functional. Have only tried a couple of times, but that seems to be the case. Hope this helps.Without JigOn I can sometimes connect the keyboard and have it working, the rest of the times the RGB LEDs flashes rainbow colours, but the keyboard is otherwise non-functional.I got exactly the same problem, I connected the keyboard to my pc, only got the RGB LEDs flashes, and the PC doesn't recognize the keyboard, nothing is functional, I got this notice everytime I plug kb in:

Stands for "compact" apparently.
Or any of these things:

Now, if your mind goes there, you have only yourself to blame ;)
Just found this GB and was curious if there's anywhere I can still get my hands on one of these or if there's an email I can reach out to LZ to see if he has any extras I tried translating his site to find a contact us/email but wasn't able to find anything.

You may want to edit that out or he'll be getting a lot more spam. This kind of thing should really go over PM.
Offcourse. Please do as what radish suggested, I had the same problem too.

Oke, thanks for the suggestion. I will do in the weekend.
I will solder the black Cherry lubed switches as well, see how that goes.
Thanks for the help so far.
And some more questions.
1. How do I get the leds in the special row under de USB working for Numlock, Capslock and Scrollock? Only numlock is working at the moment.
2. My KETC1 KEY seems not to register, if I use my multimeter I can see / hear it makes contact all right.
3. I have 3 switch leds not burning, these are, the V and the / and and the PrtScrn key, electrically they seem oke, I switched out leds and resistors but that didn't help.
Any help is appreciated.
I just assembled my CP but I have no idea how the LED programming works.Everything can be programmed in the JigOn software.
