My new HHKB's spacebar makes a rattle/squeak when I hit it on the right side... Does anybody know what this is and how I could fix it? Thanks
-
Not sure what that is. Did you try removing the spacebar and putting it back on? If you are unsure you could maybe take some pictures of it with the nearby caps removed so we can take a look!

I believe it's the stabilizer that causes it. Not sure how to get rid of it, but I think over time it goes away on its own

The sound is kind of squeaky. How do you recommend I go about removing the caps without a puller? Thanks!

lol wierd I never noticed mine has a noise when I tap the right side only.'
However, mine is not a squeak its more like a.... plastic tap noise.
The left side does not do it. Doesnt bother me much since it doesnt happen in regular typing.

Glorious hhkb is perfect. It's your ears that don't work.
