There's an old "preferred switch" thread, but this is more of an opinion/anecdote request question:
Has anyone been able to compare the click sound of thin OEM PBT keycaps with the click sound of thin OEM ABS keycaps when used with clicky switches?
My DS3 with greens is one of my favourite boards and it sounds amazing and crisp with the thin ABS, but I can't stand the muffled click sound produced by thick caps like GMK. Was wondering if anyone has used thin OEM PBT keycaps with clicky switches, and if so, is the sound comparable to that of thin ABS?
Thanks for reading! :D

This may be what you're looking for:
Tai Hao PBT on KUL 87 (browns) vs stock
Tai Hao PBT on Novatouch vs stock
Apparently there's not much of a difference.

Superb review! :D Thanks for that.
In your opinion, what is your favourite keycap type (profile, material, thickness) for clicky switches?

So far, gmk double shot is the best!
But I'm yet to try Vortex pbt cherry profile
I have them in the mail, will let you know once I give it a try
