Found this seller's blog. He apparently created a new set of keycaps for model M which looks like the old type writer keycaps.
He also sells bunch of different keycaps for Model M including the Super Mario keycap.

IIRC he has his own dyesub machine.
The keycaps are ultra expensive though. (Not unreasonable given the cost of his machines and investment, but even so, not something most model M owners are keen to pay.)

I think someone spotted them a while back, but they're certainly worth another look!
Indeed, these are beautiful, high-quality handmade caps. It's a hilarious idea, too—anyone who knew vintage computers and saw them would do one of those cartoon-style double takes where their eyes go out on springs. :?) Unfortunately, at $285.50 per set, I doubt many of us will be ordering them soon.
The same vendor (https://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/DecentKeyboards?page=2) also makes a bunch of fun, unique single caps at $6 each, which is quite reasonable.
