Shipping shows $55 for me, but could be more or less depending on your location.

Shows $55 for me too, I threw an offer on it about a half hour ago when I saw it, but no reply back yet.
-
the index key looks weird to me

The stem is just bent on it. Can straighten it out with a pliers easily and quickly, so that shouldn't be a deal breaker luckily!

May not even be bent, may just be bad mounting of the keycap. The 1 key looks a little bit off too.

Why are you guys messing around with offers? If you're offering $80 and it sells for $109 you're going to be kicking yourselves. $165 shipped is the lowest we've seen one of these in a while.
These things don't come up often, especially the white whales. Just buy it.

Well I don't really need one, but I lowballed it, if he accepted it, I would have been happy, if not I can live without one. I have more keyboards than computers now, and more projects than time, him rejecting my offer is a good thing in other words..

Go for it! and phosphorglow will soon have some controllers for ~$50 from the recent group buy so it can be fully functional. (http://deskthority.net/images/smilies/icon_evil_geek.gif)

Sigh. It is a great deal. Just a bad time for me to buy it, otherwise I 100% would.

the white whales.
Being an owner of one already, this is an understatement. It's HUGE!
They cleaned it up very well. Buyer beware though, having handled it myself and passed on it, there's other issues with it. Possibly necessitating spares
This keyboard used to belong to the Oakland Unified School District and will be marked that way on the underside with asset tags.
Proof I had some behind the scenes keyboard action:
