I'm trying to repair a Toshiba 3100e keyboard (ALPS keyswitches, double-shot keys) on which the Escape key doesn't work. The switch itself is fine, so I need to replace the associated diode (especially after I desoldered it and it came out in two halves!)
Any suggestions on the correct rating for a replacement diode?

A 1N4148 or 1N914 should be OK. Specs aren't critical for diodes in an apilcation like this.

Thanks for the info.
