Title: It's an expensive laptop, but for GHers, it's the most expensive keyboard.

The  first laptop that has mechanical keyboard built-in. Weird that they choose brown instead of black or red.

Hope there will be a smaller version with 60% layout, then that will be my next laptop.  :D

I'm on my phone but I know this thing has had a couple threads already.

I feel like this falls into a niche that few people are going to want. It's not particularly appealing for mobility (too big) and not particularly appealing for gaming (desktops are generally preferred by PC gamers for upgrade potential, performance, performance::price ratio, and temps). I just don't know who the target consumer is.

It is a very interesting laptop, Linus on youtube made a review about it.
There is another (modern/clamshell) laptop which used a rather good mechanical keyboard, was a old 286 Toshiba model T3200 (had a ALPS keyboard). I was very close to buy a broken one for the keyboard/keycaps at some point.
