Title: Saw this switch on ebay, looks like an Alps mount of some kind

Is this an Alps slider rubber dome? Can't tell. Labeled as "silent" by the seller. Otherwise I've got nothing.

It does look suspiciously like a slider over rubber dome.  The Deskthority Wiki has a picture of one that looks very much like it except that the slider is white: it is called "Tulip dome with slider".

Does the keyboard look like one of these (http://deskthority.net/w-a-n-t-t-o-t-r-a-d-e-f60/alps-keycaps-t4972.html) otherwise?

Well it is a Tulip branded board so I'd say you are correct. :P

The keycaps are at least alps mount double shot, though they look thin.

Weird to have nice doubleshots and then use ****ty domes with slider.

I haven't heard of any kind of thick Alps-mount doubleshots yet. All the ones I've seen and heard of are thin.
