Title: Stem location modification possible?
Post by: zenless on Wed, 27 May 2015, 10:49:35
Couldn't figure out a good way to search for this. But i take it keycap modification is not an easy task? What I mean is i have an off-center space key and an off center capslock. If i wanted to convert those to centered..that's not something a novice could easily do? Probably better off buying a modifier set? Anyone know of a good source of cherry or oem profile blanks for that purpose?

If you are careful you can reuse the one you cut away. Get a razor blade and break it to make it fit inside the cap. Then use some tool to slide it through the stem. Then just relocate and glue.
